For hundreds of years, the Dutch have depended on dikes and wind-powered pumps to keep water from invading their lands. With nearlya quater of the Netherlands reclaimed from the sea, or even below sea level, flooding from North Sea storms and overflowing rivers are constantly looming threats.

In Pandemic: Rising Tide, it is up to your team to prevent water from overflowing the Netherlands. As you sail these water-filled regions, you will build dikes to control water flow, ports to facilitate travel, and windmills to pump the water out of flooded lands.
